| Oh, the Nationals! There's nothing quite like it. Even it we didn't come home with a single ribbon (which we did, by the way!), you still can't beat the fun with friends, the food, the atmosphere, the "drama". Well, this year's Nationals goes down as the wettest one I've attended so far...that's for darn sure! Friday and Saturday were just miserable, but Sunday ended up as a perfect Maryland October day. | The biggest congrats to Marilyn on all the hard work she has done to get Vanna ready for the racing of her life. We are so proud of you! Thanks for earning Foxglade's FIRST National's Championship!!! After that, everything else was just "gravy"! Harry, Gunner, Ice, O'Malley, Evgrin, and Trudy did us proud by earning us racing ribbons. Complete results below. The rest of the weekend, Gunner had some great agility runs, placing in two classes. Harry gave an outstanding effort in the Super Earth, but doesn't quite have that figured out yet! | And one final photo. As we left the Nationals, a mower flung a rock at the car...shattering the driver's side window. Thankfully, we were fine, and drove the first eight hours to our dear friends, Kris and Jim Tracy's, to stay at their wonderful Quail Crossing Farm. Our contractor bag and a bit of packing tape made the 700 mile trip home in one piece. See...country girls can survive! |
