2006 JRTCA NATIONALS

It's so hard to believe the Nationals came and went! Compared to last year, the weather was so much
nicer...well, once we got through Friday. Friday was blustery, rainy, with 40 mph winds for the better
part of the afternoon. The final races were held in the dark, but the headlights of cars lining the track.
That's Nationals though...expect the unexpected!

Our proudest moment this weekend was collecting Harry's Bronze Medallion on Saturday. We could
not have been happier. Sunday brought a surprisingly brilliant run in Agility III for Gunner and me. Of
all things, he placed and FINISHED his Agility III certificate. More tears of joy.

The Monday after brought one more outstanding memory. In the alfalfa fields of Virginia, Peanuts
helped start the next generation of working terriers. Titan and Mr. Freeze showed that the future is
safe with them.

All and all, just an outstanding weekend.
