| Where to begin about Gunner? He is truly a once in a lifetime dog. Anything asked of this dog, he will try to do. His racing career can be matched by few. He holds over 60 JRTCA sanctioned and open trial racing, one GTG, and 10 agility championships to date. In 2007, he is still going strong, winning nearly every veteran championship entered. He also finished fourth in the Incredible Dog Challenge National Finals in 2006, as the only veteran to qualify. Gunner has proved himself as an outstanding sire. He is unmatched in head and bone, and does much to improve a light boned female. Bred from correct lines, he is passing on not only his athleticism, but also proper conformation to his progeny. In addition, his offspring show the ability to hunt in the field, which is still the most important attribute to the Jack Russell Terrier. Several of his offspring have been started in the field.
